VOLUNTEERING: Biomedical / Blood Services

GREETER: Register the donors by verifying their personal identification.

CANTEEN: Serve food and beverages to the donors. Keep the canteen clean and monitor for donor reactions.

WALKER: Escort donors from the blood donation area to the canteen area.

PRESENTER: Give presentations at businesses and school assemblies by educating and preparing students and employees for an upcoming blood drive. This position requires minimal training from our local Chapter Office.

DAYCHAIR: Responsible for coordinating the volunteers, volunteers lunches, canteen donations, and positing flyers for selected blood drives.

CANVASSER: Posting or hanging flyers for blood drives in a particular community or geographic area.

TELE-RECRUITER: Calling prospective blood donors and informing them of an upcoming blood drive in a particular community or geographic area. This can be completed from the Chapter Office or from the volunteers home (if calls are considered local).
