Westmoreland County Chapter
Elects
New Board Chairman
|
The Westmoreland County Chapter of the American
Red Cross held its Annual Business Meeting on Tuesday, April 24, 2007. At
this meeting, the Board of Directors elected William
.P. Malloy to serve as
the new Chairman of the Board. Mr. Malloy’s term begins July 1, 2007. Prior to being elected as chairman, he
served as the Vice Chairman of the Board, Chairman of the Human Resources
Committee, and member of the Finance Committee.
William P. Malloy is the President and managing partner of ROAM
Investments, Inc. Prior to his full-time employment at ROAM, Mr. Malloy
served as the Director of the Saint Vincent Archabbey and Seminary
Development Office, located in Latrobe,
Pennsylvania. Prior to this position, Mr. Malloy was
President of First Bank of Leechburg.
He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Greensburg
Community Development Corp. In
addition, he serves on the Board of Directors of the Northside Community
Development Fund. He has served as the
President of Kiski Valley Enterprises, Inc., a local industrial development
corporation (IDC), on the Advisory Board for the Central Atlantic School of
Commercial Lending, was a member of the Leechburg Rotary, was a fitness
instructor at the Allegheny Valley YMCA and is a member of St. Martin Parish
in New Derry. Mr. Malloy is a magna
cum laude graduate of Saint
Vincent College
holding a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts with minors in Mathematics,
Economics, and Biology.
